Über die Veranstaltung
Discover how to make the metronome your closest musical companion. How familiar are you with different techniques for practicing with it? From setting the metronome on the upbeat for jazz, to syncopated beats for pop/rock, triplet feels for shuffle, quintuplets for that “swag” feel, or clave rhythms (like rumba, son, and bossa nova) for Latin grooves—each approach offers new rhythmic insights.
In this workshop, Antonio introduce additional powerful techniques to enhance your metronome practice, along with exciting polyrhythms to elevate your rhythmic skills. This immersive experience will challenge you, open your mind, and help you move in sync with the heart of music: rhythm—with plenty of groove, of course! Target audience: Anyone can participate, but highly recommended for drummers and bassists.
Maximum number of participants: 10
About Anotonio Miglionico:
A drummer and jazz percussionist, he graduated from the "Luisa D'Annunzio" Conservatory in Pescara. His musical journey began early, inspired by his father and grandfather, both hobbyist musicians. He started with private lessons in drums, harmony, and piano, which quickly led to live performances. After enrolling at the Pescara Conservatory, he spent five years honing his craft. Today, he plays in various musical projects spanning Brazilian music, rap/rock, and rockabilly/country/blues. He is currently doing an Erasmus+ traineeship at the VMI.
